Meet Your Therapist
Natalie Baillargeon, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
CRPO #18704 | Currently Under Supervised Practice
Hi, I’m Natalie—a compassionate, down-to-earth therapist dedicated to walking alongside individuals through healing, self-discovery, and meaningful change. I believe everyone deserves a space where they feel safe, seen, and supported in expressing their voice and living more authentically. Therapy with me is collaborative and curious. We don’t rush to fix. We sit with what’s real. Together, we make space for your story to unfold—on your terms—so you can reconnect with what matters, build clarity, and root more deeply into your sense of self and self-worth.
My work focuses on helping clients build self-awareness, emotional regulation, and communication skills while navigating anxiety, depression, neurodivergence (autism, ADHD, learning differences), trauma, family and relationship dynamics, and major life transitions. I also integrate holistic tools like somatic strategies, mindfulness, breathwork, and grounding to support nervous system regulation and emotional resilience. Rooted in my academic foundation in Women’s Studies and Indigenous Studies, I also bring an intersectional, justice-informed lens to therapy. I understand how systems of power, identity, and culture shape our internal worlds—and I’m especially attuned to working with individuals who have felt silenced, dismissed, or unseen.
Additionally, with over 25 years in the arts, I bring a creative lens to therapy. My background in vocal training with the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM), improv Second City (Film/TV), lyric writing, and poetic expression supports art-based and narrative work. Creative expression offers many clients a powerful bridge to insight, healing, and integration—especially when traditional talk therapy feels limiting.
I draw from a variety of evidence-based modalities tailored to each person’s needs, including:
Existential Therapy – Exploring meaning, personal freedom, responsibility, and authentic living.
Narrative Therapy – Using story, metaphor, and creative expression (including music and art) to make meaning and re-author personal narratives.
Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) – Deepening awareness and processing emotions to promote transformation and healing.
Person-Centred Therapy – Providing a warm, empathetic environment rooted in unconditional positive regard, trust, and deep listening.
Strength-Based Therapy – Highlighting resilience and personal strengths as empowerment, healing, and self-growth tools.
Internal Family Systems (IFS) – Working with internal “parts” to foster self-leadership and inner harmony.
Adlerian Therapy – Understanding how early experiences, belonging, and life purpose shape present-day struggles and resilience.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) – Supporting practical skills for challenging unhelpful thought patterns and building coping strategies while integrating emotional and somatic work.
Solution-Focused Therapy – Highlighting goals, hope, and actionable steps for change.
Trauma-Informed & Harm Reduction Approaches – Prioritizing safety, choice, and collaboration; meeting clients where they are without judgment.

Goals for the Near Future
Couples Therapy - Gottman Level 1 (2025 Spring/Summer):
Gottman Method Couples Therapy provides an evidence-based approach to strengthening relationships by enhancing communication, fostering emotional connection, and rebuilding trust. Through Level 1 and 2 training, therapists gain advanced skills in identifying relationship dynamics, managing conflict, and deepening intimacy. This approach empowers couples to develop healthier patterns, repair past wounds, and build a resilient, fulfilling partnership.
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing):
EMDR is a structured, evidence-based therapy developed by Francine Shapiro to help people heal from trauma, PTSD, and distressing life experiences. It’s based on the idea that unprocessed memories can get “stuck” in the brain and continue to cause emotional distress.
Advanced Adlerian Therapy Approaches and Skills:
Adlerian therapy, rooted in Alfred Adler's work, is a holistic, insight-oriented, and goal-focused approach that emphasizes social connection, personal responsibility, and meaning-making. It’s often used for individuals, couples, families, and children.
Advanced Emotion-Focused Therapy Approaches and Skills:
Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) is a humanistic, evidence-based approach grounded in the belief that emotions are key to identity, choice, and change. Developed by Leslie Greenberg, it’s especially powerful in working with individuals, couples, and families to process and transform painful emotional experiences.
Dialectical Behaviour Therapy Approaches and Skills:
Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), developed by Marsha Linehan, is an evidence-based therapy originally created for individuals with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) but is now widely used for people who experience emotion dysregulation, self-harm, chronic suicidality, and interpersonal chaos.
